Why do tour operators and guides need a public liability insurance?

What insurance do tour operators and guides need?

Public liability cover

Public liability insurance helps protect you against claims made by a third party – like a tour attendee. It helps cover the costs of injury and property damage (including legal fees).

Personal accident cover

An unexpected injury can be a huge setback. Personal accident insurance provides you with weekly and lump sum benefits if you are too injured to work as usual.

Volunteers’ injuries

An on-the-job injury doesn’t need to spell disaster. Look after your volunteer tour guides and staff with voluntary workers personal accident insurance.

Travel insurance

On the road often as part of your touring job? Know your luggage, medical costs and cancellation fees are taken care of with a travel insurance policy.

Professional indemnity

If a third party faces a financial loss while acting on your professional advice, they could hold you responsible. Professional indemnity insurance helps cover the costs of advice-related claims.
