The Australian Lottery and Newsagents Association (ALNA) is a national industry body that advocates and supports the news, lottery and distribution community. It is also the only lottery and newsagent association with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s authorisation to represent its members nationally.

No. But Marsh is the exclusively appointed insurance broker for ALNA – and if you’re an ALNA member, you can receive a premium discount on your Lottery professional indemnity insurance.

Yes. We can provide a quote indication for Lottery professional indemnity insurance over the phone.

But if you’re after the business package insurance, we can only give you a non-binding quote indication over the phone if sufficient information is provided – and the relevant underwriter criteria is met.

To get a formal quote, you’ll need to complete a proposal form or an online application.

You’ll obtain the certificate of currency – as required by Lottery Corporation – once Marsh receives the policy premium payment.

You can pay via cheque, BPAY, credit card or direct debit.

If you meet certain criteria, we can also arrange premium funding via monthly instalments through a premium funder. To request monthly payments, please speak to our team.

Our team can guide you through the process of lodging a claim, offer their expertise and advice, and advocate for you in discussions with the insurer.
