Frequently asked questions

Marsh are no longer arranging insurance solutions for dirt bikes and go carts. If you have any questions or need to discuss your current policy, or a claim please contact us.

This policy does not cover:

  • Damage caused while loading and unloading your bike or go kart onto or from a conveyance trailer
  • Wear and tear, gradual deterioration and mechanical or electrical breakdown
  • Damage sustained while the bike or go kart is being used
  • Any legal liability whatsoever

This policy does not cover your bike or go kart while it is being used.

Your bike or go kart must:

  • Be secured with a lock, chain or other security device at all times when not in use
  • Be stored in a fully locked and enclosed building, shipping container or trailer while kept at the garaging address

The premium is based on the market value of your bike or go kart (including non-standard accessories if cover is selected), risk location, storage type and other variables. To find out how much you have to pay call us on 1300 117 131.

You will have to pay $250 for Standard Excess and $500 for Theft Excess.

No contract is entered into and therefore no insurance cover applies until we have received and accepted your payment and application form.
